Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that arose because of Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word only to the Jews.


But there were some men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who went to Antioch and spoke to the Greeks also, proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus.


When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and exhorted them all to remain true to the Lord with purpose in their hearts.


and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year, they met together with the church and taught a considerable number of people. The disciples were first called ‘Christians’ in Antioch.


At that time, some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.


But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came and when they had won over the crowd, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, thinking he was dead.


They preached the gospel in that city and made many disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,


Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting, they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed.


Then it seemed good to the apostles, the elders, and the whole church to select men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, who were leading men among the siblings.


So they were sent off and came to Antioch. after gathering the group together, they delivered the letter.


but Paul chose Silas and departed, after being commended by the siblings to the grace of God.


Now I am entrusting y’all to God and to the word of ʜɪꜱ grace, which is able to build y’all up and to give y’all an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.


in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.


Now this is our boast: the testimony of our conscience is that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward y’all, with godly integrity and sincerity, not by fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God.


But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.


I was made its deacon according to the economy of God which was given to me for y’all the fullness of the word of God,


We proclaim him, admonishing every human and teaching every human in all wisdom, that we may present every human perfect in Christ Jesus.


Y’all tell Archippus, “Take heed to the deacon-work which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.”


Preach the word, Be ready in season and out of season Correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and instruction.
