He said, “You have asked a hard thing. If you see me when I am taken from you, it will be so for you; but if not, it will not be so.”


Isaiah the prophet cried to YHWH; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.


Isaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from YHWH, that YHWH will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”


This is easy in eyes of YHWH. He will also deliver the Moabites into y’all’s hand.


Indeed, he says, “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”


Very truly I tell y’all, anyone who believes in me and the works that I do, they will do these and even greater works, because I am going to my Father.


Then Joshua spoke to YHWH in the day when YHWH delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. He said in the sight of Israel, “Sun, stand still on Gibeon! You, moon, stop in the valley of Aijalon!”


The sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the nation had avenged themselves of their enemies. Isn’t this written in the book of Jashar? The sun stayed in the middle of the sky, and didn’t hurry to go down about a whole day.
