Solomon stood before the altar of YHWH in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven.


The same day the king made the middle of the court holy that was before the house of YHWH; for there he offered the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that was before YHWH was too little to receive the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat of the peace offerings.


Solomon offered burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar which he built to YHWH three times per year, burning incense with them on the altar that was before YHWH. So he finished the house.


Moreover the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was there before YHWH’s tabernacle; and Solomon and the assembly were seeking counsel there.


When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill country of Ephraim; and he renewed the altar of YHWH that was before YHWH’s porch.


Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace and said, “We have cleansed all the house of YHWH, including the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the table of show bread with all its vessels.


Moreover Solomon made the middle of the court that was before the house of YHWH holy; for there he offered the burnt offerings and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat.


Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to YHWH on the altar of YHWH which he had built before the porch,
