25 The men of Israel said, “Have y’all seen this man who keeps coming up? He has surely come up to defy Israel. The king will give great riches to the man who kills him, and will give him his daughter, and will make his father’s house tax-free in Israel.”

Also we inform y’all that it will not be lawful to impose tribute, custom, or toll on any of the priests, Levites, singers, gatekeepers, temple servants, or laborers of this house of God.

Caleb said, “He who strikes Kiriath Sepher, and takes it, to him I will give Achsah my daughter as wife.”


Whoever has an ear, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give them a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows but the one who receives it.


Whoever has an ear, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.”


The one who conquers, I will make into a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go out again. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.


The one who conquers, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat with my Father on ʜɪꜱ throne.


The one who conquers will be dressed in white clothes. I will never blot the name of that person out of the book of life, but I will acknowledge that name before my Father and before ʜɪꜱ angels.


All the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him and were terrified.


The people told him what had been said, saying, “This is what will be done for the man who kills him.”
