For with you, I can run against a troop, and with my God, I leap over a wall.


What then should we say about all of this? If God is for us, who can be against us?


YHWH will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways.


How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and YHWH had delivered them up?


quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong in weakness, grew mighty in war, and put foreign armies to flight.


One of y’all routs a thousand, for it is YHWH y’all’s God who fights for y’all, as ʜᴇ promised y’all.


Then he called hastily to the young man, his armor bearer, and said to him, “Draw your sword and kill me, that men not say of me, ‘A woman killed him.’ His young man thrust him through, and he died.”


The men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armor bearer and said, “Y’all come up to us, and we will show y’all something!” Jonathan said to his armor bearer, “Come up after me, because YHWH has delivered them into the hand of Israel.”


That first slaughter, which Jonathan and his armor bearer made, was about twenty men, within as it were half a furrow’s length in an acre of land.
