In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble and fear because of the shaking of YHWH Almighty’s hand, which he shakes over them.


After they passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.


After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth,


When Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews united with one mind to attack Paul and brought him before the place of judgment,


But when they opposed him and vilified him, he shook out his clothing and said to them, “Y’all’s blood be on your* own heads! I am innocent. From now on, I will go to the ethnic groups!”


Now I Paul, myself, appeal to y’all by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am meek when face to face with y’all, but bold toward y’all when away!


For some say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speaking is forgettable.”


For he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but through the power of God we will live with him in dealing with y’all.


For we rejoice when we are weak and y’all are strong. We also pray for this: that y’all would made complete.


Therefore, since we have this deacon-work because we were shown mercy, we do not lose heart.


Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer humanity is decaying, our inside is being renewed day by day.


Instead, we commend ourselves as deacons of God in all things: in great endurance, in oppressions, in hardships, in distresses,


And his affection for y’all is even greater when he remembers all your* obedience, how y’all received him with fear and trembling.


For even when we came into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest. Instead, we were squeezed on every side, conflicts on the outside, fears within.


Slaves, y’all are to be obedient to those who according to the flesh are masters, with respect and fear, in sincerity of your* heart as to Christ,
