he said: yee. And when he was come into the house, Iesus spake first to him, saying: What thinkest thou Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take tribute, or poll money? of their children, or of strangers?


They said unto him: Cesar's. Then said he unto them: Give therefore to Cesar, that which is cesar's: and give unto god, that which is goddes.


And Iesus answered, and said unto them: Then give to Cesar that which belongeth to Cesar: and give God that which pertaineth to God. And they marvelled at him.


Is it lawful for us to give Cesar tribute, or no?


And he said unto them: Give then unto Cesar, that which belongeth unto Cesar: And to God, that which pertaineth to God.


And they began to accuse him saying: We have found his fellow, perverting the people, and forbidding to pay tribute to Cesar: And sayeth that he is Christ a king.


Be kind one to another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another.


Even for this cause pay ye tribute.


Nevertheless do ye so that every one of you love his wife truly even as himself: And let the wife see that she fear her husband.


Servants be obedient unto your carnal masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your hearts, as unto Christ:


And also they learn to go from house to house idle, yee not idle only, but also trifling and busybodies, speaking things which are not comely.


¶ The seniors that rule well are worthy of double honour, most specially they which labour in the word and in teaching.


¶ Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God, and his doctrine be not evil spoken of.


¶ Likewise ye men dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as unto them that are heirs also of the grace of life, that your prayers be not let.
