And they said: believe on the Lord Iesus, and thou shalt be saved and thy household.


So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing cometh by the word of God.


This only would I learn of you, received ye the spirit by the deeds of the law? or else by preaching of the faith?


Which ministered to you the spirit, and worketh miracles among you doth he it thorow the deeds of the law? or by preaching of the faith?


to sanctify it, and cleansed it in the fountain of water thorow the word,


If thou shalt put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Iesu Christ which hast been nourished up in the words of the faith, and good doctrine, which doctrine thou hast continually followed.


for ye are born a new, not of mortal seed, but of immortal seed, by the word of God which liveth, and lasteth for ever,


but the word of the Lord endureth ever. And this is the word which by the gospell was preached among you.
