and ye shall be hated of all men, for my name. But whosoever shall continue unto the end, shall be saved.


He which is sown in the good ground, is he, that heareth the word and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundred fold, some fifty fold, and some thirty fold.


Part fell in good ground, and brought forth good fruit: some an hundred fold, some fifty fold, some thirty fold.


For whosoever will save his life, shall loose it. And whosoever shall loose his life for my sake, shall find it.


¶ And behold one came, and said unto him: good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?


Then shall the King say to them on his right hand: Come ye blessed children of my father, inherit ye the kingdom prepared for you from the beginning of the world.


And these shall go into everlasting pain: And the righteous into life eternal.


Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall falsely say all manner of evil sayings against you for my sake.


But rather seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and the righteousness thereof, and all these things shall be ministered unto you.


If a man come to me, and hate not his father and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, moreover and his own life, he cannot be my disciple.


And they brought the ships to land, and forsook all, and followed him.


Blessed are ye when men hate you, and thrust you out of their company, and rail on you, and abhor your name, as an evil thing, for the son of man's sake.


If ye were of the world, the world would love his own. Because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore hateth you the world.


And he that reapeth receiveth reward, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: That both he that soweth, might rejoice also, and he that reapeth.


For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.


but as it is written: The eye hath not seen, and the ear hath not heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which god hath prepared for them that love him.


¶ Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh. Insomuch that though we have known Christ after the flesh, now henceforth know we him so no more.


Yee I think all things but loss for that excellent knowledge's sake of Christ Iesu my Lord. For whom I have counted all thing loss, and do judge them but dung, that I might win Christ,


¶ Happy are ye when ye suffer rebuke for the name of Christ. For the spirit of glory and the spirit of God resteth upon you. On their part he is evil spoken of: but on your part he is glorified.


because that for his name's sake they went forth, and took nothing of the gentiles.
