All things are given unto me of my father. And no man knoweth the son, but thy father neither knoweth any man the father, save the son, and he to whom the son will open him.


While he yet spake, behold a bright cloud shadowed them. And lo a voice out of the cloud said: This is my dear son, in whom I delight, hear him.


And lo there came a voice from heaven saying: this is that my dear son, in whom is my delight.


¶ The devil took him up again and led him into an exceeding high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the beauty of them,


All things are given me of my father. And no man knoweth who the son is, but the father: neither who the father is, save the son, and he to whom the son will shew him.


No man saw god at any time. The only begotten son, which is in the father's bosom, hath declared him.


Iesus answered them: many good works have I shewed you from my father: for which of them will ye stone me?


¶ Verily verily I say unto you whosoever believeth on me, the works that I do, the same shall he do, and greater works then these shall he do, because I go unto my father.


Henceforth call I you not servants: For the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth. But you have I called friends: For all things that I have heard of my father, I have opened to you.


And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it, that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, be in them, and that I be in them.


The father loveth the son, and hath given all things into his hand.


For likewise as the father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them, even so the son quickeneth whom he will.


¶ Verily, verily I say unto you: the time shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God. And they that hear, shall live.


and shall come forth, they that have done good unto the resurrection of life. And they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.


Even then verily when he received of God the father honour and glory, and when there came such a voice to him from that excellent glory. This is my dear beloved son, in whom I have delight,
