When the husbandmen saw his son, they said among them selves: This is the heir, come on let us kill him, and let us take his inheritance, to our selves.


Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.


And again the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word that Iesus said unto him: before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice, and began to weep.


And she went, and told them that were with him, as they mourned and wept.


And he rose up from prayer, and came to his disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow,


And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.


¶ There followed him a great company of people, and of women, which women bewailed, and lamented him.


And he said unto them: What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another as ye walk, and are sad?


We trusted that it should have been he that should have delivered Israhell. And as touching all these things, today is even the third day, that they were done.


Blessed are ye that hunger: for ye shall be satisfied. Blessed are ye that weep: for ye shall laugh.


These words have I spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world shall ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.


but because I have said such things unto you, your hearts are full of sorrow.


And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and feet, and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord.


¶ And they departed from the council rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer rebuke for his name.


Not only so, but we also joy in God by the means of our Lord Iesus Christ, by whom we have received this atonement.


as sorrowing and yet alwaye merry: as poor and yet make many rich: as having no thing and yet possessing all things.


but the fruit of the spirit is, love, joy, peace, longsuffering gentleness, goodness, faith fulness, meekness, temperancy:


¶ And ye counterfeited us, and of the Lord: and received the word in much affliction, with joy of the holy ghost:


My brethren, count it exceeding joy when ye fall into diverse temptations,


¶ Unto him that is able to keep you, that ye faule not, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with joy,


And they that dwell upon the earth, shall rejoice over them and be glad, and shall send gifts one to another: for these two prophets vexed them that dwelt on the earth.


And as much as she glorified herself and lived wantonly, so much pour ye in for her of punishment, and sorrow, for she said in her heart: I sit being a queen and am no widow and shall see no sorrow.
