¶ And the apostles said unto the Lord: increase our faith.


When they were come and had gathered the congregation together, they rehearsed all that God had done by them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.


whom God hath raised up and lowsed the sorrows of death, because it was impossible that he should be holden of it.


This Iesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.


but also for us, to whom it shall be counted for righteousness so we believe on him that raised, up Iesus our Lord from death.


¶ Even so ye my brethren, ye also are made dead as concerning the law by the body of Christ, that ye should be coupled to another (I mean to him that is risen again from death) that we should bring forth fruit unto God.


For in one spirit are we all baptised to make one body, whether we be jewes or gentiles: whether we be bond or free, and have all drunk of one spirit.


¶ Now is Christ risen from death, and is become the first fruits of them that slept.


For all ye that are baptised, have put Christ on you.


For by grace are ye made safe throwe faith, and that not of your selves: For it is the gift of God,


that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that ye being rooted and grounded in love,


whereof I am made a minister, by the gift of the grace of God given unto me, after the working of his power.


Let there be but one Lord, one faith, one baptism:


Wherefore he saith: awake thou that sleepest, and stand up from death, and Christ shall give thee light.


For unto you it is given, that not only ye should believe on Christ: but also suffer for his sake,


Wherein I also labour and strive, even as far forth as his working worketh in me mightily.


¶ And hath with him quickened you also which were dead in sin in the uncircumcision of your flesh, and hath forgiven our trespasses,


looking unto Iesus, the author and finisher of our faith, which for the joy that was set before him, abode the cross, and despised the shame, and is set down on the right hand of the throne of God.


of baptism, of doctrine, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection from death, and of eternal judgement.


which signifieth baptism that now saveth us, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but in that a good conscience consenteth to God, by the resurrection of Iesus Christ,
