¶ I baptise you in water, in token of repentance, but he that cometh after me, is mightier than I: whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptise you with the holy ghost, and with fire,

¶ As soon as the Lord had knowledge, how that it was come to the ears of the pharises, that Iesus made and baptised more disciples than Ihon


Philip said unto him: If thou believe with all thine heart, thou mayst. He answered saying: I believe that Iesus Christ is the son of God.


As soon as they were come out of the water the spirit of the Lord caught away Philip. And the gelded man saw him no more. And he went on his way rejoicing:
