Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for the meat that endureth unto everlasting life, which meat the son of man shall give unto you. For him hath God the father sealed.


but in all people he that feareth him and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.


For whosoever in these things serveth Christ, pleaseth well God: and is commended of men.


If we live, we live to be at the Lord's will. And if we die, we die at the Lord's will. Whether we live therefore or die, we are the Lord's.


¶ So have I enforced myself to preach the gospell, not where Christ was named, lest I should have built on another man's foundation:


Therefore my dear brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable, always rich in the works of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know how that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.


¶ We are alway of good cheer, and know well that as long as we are at home in the body we are absent from God.


Nevertheless we are of good comfort, and had lever to be absent from the body and to be present with God.


to the praise of his glorious grace, where with he hath made us accepted in the beloved.


that ye might walk worthy of the Lord in all things that please, being fruitful in all good works and increasing in the knowledge of God


Wherein I also labour and strive, even as far forth as his working worketh in me mightily.


¶ Furthermore we beseech you brethren, and exhort you in the Lord Iesus, that ye increase more and more, even as ye have received of us, how ye ought to walk and to please God.


and that ye study to be quiet, and to meddle with your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you:


For therefore we labour and suffer rebuke, because we believe in the living God, which is the saviour of all men: but specially of those that believe.


Wherefore if we receive a kingdom which is not moved, we have grace, whereby we may serve God and please him with reverence and godly fear.


¶ Let us study therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall into such an ensample of unbelief:


¶ Wherefore dearly beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot and undefiled:
