Iesus came and spake unto them, saying: All power is given unto me in heaven, and in earth.


Teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you. And lo, I am with you alway even until the end of the world. Here endeth the gospell off S. Mathew.


For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, where against, all your adversaries shall not be able to speak nor resist.


There hath none other temptation taken you, but such as followeth the nature of man. God is faithful, which shall not suffer you to be tempted above your strength: but shall in the midst of the temptation make a way to escape out.


But by the faveour of God I am that I am. And his faveour which is in me was not in vain: but I laboured more abundantly than they all, not I, but the faveour of God which is with me.


And I was among you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.


that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men: but in the power of god.


If I must needs rejoice, I will rejoice of mine infirmities.


¶ It is not expedient for me no doubt to rejoice, Nevertheless I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.


Therefore have I delectation in infirmities, in rebukes, in need, in persecutions, in anguish, for Christi's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.


¶ I will very gladly bestow, and will be bestowed for your souls: though the more I love you, the less I am loved again.


Of this man will I rejoice, of myself will I not rejoice, except it be of mine infirmities:


that ye may be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man,


I can do all things thorow the help of Christ, which strengtheneth me.


strengthed with all might, throwe his glorious power, unto all patience, and long suffering, with joyfulness,


but the grace of our Lord was more abundant, with faith and love, which is in Christ Iesu.


quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, of weak were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.


Let us therefore go boldly unto the seat of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
