If it happen that he find him, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, then of the ninety and nine, which went not astray.


And they were glad: and promised to give him money.


Which men, though they knew the righteousness of God, how that they which such things commit are worthy of death, yet not only do the same, but also had pleasure in them that did them.


¶ Let love be without dissimulation. Hate that which is evil, and cleave unto that which is good.


¶ What thing is this? Notwithsanding by all manner ways, whether it be by occasion or of truth, yet Christ is preached: and therefore I joy. Yee and will joy.


always in all my prayers for you all, and pray with gladness,


For many walk (of whom I have told you often, and now tell you weeping) that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ,


that all they might be damned which believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.


¶ I rejoiced greatly, that I found of thy children walking in trough, as we have received a commandment of the father.
