Both were perfect before God, and walked in all the laws and ordinances of the Lord that no man could find fault with them.


¶ This I warn you of, and commend not that ye come together after a worse manner, and not after a better.


Have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? Or else despise ye the congregation of God? and shame them that have not? what shall I say unto you? shall I praise you? in this praise I you not.


by the which also ye are saved, I do you to wit after what manner I preached unto you, if ye keep it, except ye have believed in vain.


For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, which is my dear son, and faithful in the Lord, which shall put you in remembrance of my ways which I have in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in all congregations.


but even as god hath distributed to every man. ¶ As the Lord hath called every person, so let him walk: and so ordain I in all congregations.


¶ And ye counterfeited us, and of the Lord: and received the word in much affliction, with joy of the holy ghost:


¶ Now lately when Timotheus came from you unto us and declared to us your faith, and your love, and how that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring to see us, as we desire to see you.


¶ Therefore brethren stand fast and keep the ordinations, which ye have learned: whether it were by our preaching, or by our pistel:


¶ We require you brethren in the name of our Lord Iesu Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh inordinately, and not after the institution which ye received of us.
