I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord.


For if ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers; for I have begotten you in Christ Jesus through the gospel.


Now I Paul myself, who when present am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you, intreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ,


Ye are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by all men:


Lest if any of the Macedonians come with me, and find you unprepared, we (not to say, you) be ashamed of this confident boasting.


Behold, I Paul say unto you, If ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.


Ye see how large a letter I have written to you with my own hand.


and the Lord Jesus Christ our hope, To Timotheus my own son in the faith, grace, mercy, peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.


To Titus my own son after the common faith, grace, mercy, peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.


If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee any thing, put that to my account.
