Then answered Peter and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tents, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.


But Jesus said to them, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink of the cup that I drink of, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?


But Simon answering said to him, Master, Having toiled all the night, we have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word, I will let down the net.


While he spake thus, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they feared while they entered into the cloud.


And John answering said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and we forbad him; because he followeth not with us.


Philip saith to him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.


For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to inlighten us with the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Jesus Christ.
