And as he drew nigh the gate of the city, behold a dead man was carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a great multitude of the city was with her.


And behold there came a man named Jairus, and he was ruler of the synagogue; and falling down at the feet of Jesus, he besought him to come to his house.


And a woman who had had an issue of blood twelve years, and had spent all her living upon Physicians, neither could be healed by any,


And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?


Therefore as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin, even so death passed upon all men, in that all had sinned.
