Then he that had received the one talent came and said, Sir, I knew that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hadst not sown, and gathering whence thou hadst not scattered.


And having called ten of his servants, he gave them ten pounds, and said unto them, Trade till I come.


And he said to him likewise, Be thou also over five cities.


For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up what thou layest not down, and reapest what thou didst not sow.


And now also the axe lieth at the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit, is hewn down, and cast into the fire.


And why call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?


And he that had been dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapt about with a napkin. Jesus saith to them, Loose him, and let him go.


not lying with the linen clothes, but folded up in a place by itself.


Therefore to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
