And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.


Who is this Son of man? Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness overtake you, for he that walketh in darkness, knoweth not whither he goeth.


While ye have the light, believe in the light, that ye may become children of light. These things spake Jesus, and retiring concealed himself from them.


I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me, may not continue in darkness.


Jesus saith, I am the way; and the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father, but by me.


And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.


If any man be willing to do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.


While I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Having said this,


For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set Thee for a light of the Gentiles, that Thou mightest be for salvation to the ends of the earth.


That the Christ having suffered, and being the first who rose from the dead, should shew light to the people and to the Gentiles.


These are wells without water, clouds driven by a tempest, to whom the blackness of darkness is reserved for ever.


For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, delivered them to chains of darkness,


If we say we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth.


Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.


And the angels, who kept not their first dignity, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day.


And the nations shall walk by the light thereof; and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.
