Thus, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God, over one sinner that repenteth.


But it was meet to make merry and be glad, for this thy brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.


I say to you, Thus joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who do not need repentance.


I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.


For the Son of man is not come to destroy mens lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.


What hast thou done? Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have fought, that I might not be delivered to the Jews: but my kingdom is not from hence.


For God sent not his Son into the world, to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved thro' him.


Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said to him, Lo, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come to thee.


Ye judge after the flesh: I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is valid; for I am not alone:


Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?


For what have I to do, to judge them also that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?


And account the long-suffering of our Lord salvation, as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given him , hath written to you:
