Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile.


For every one that doth evil, hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.


Search the scriptures: in them ye think ye have eternal life: and it is they that testify of me.


If any man be willing to do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.


But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain, but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.


For this is our rejoicing, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more especially toward you.


For he that soweth to the flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.


walk as children of light; (The fruit of the light is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth:)


Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Christ Jesus, to the glory and praise of God.


For it is God that worketh in you according to his good pleasure, both to will and to do.


For which also I labour, striving according to his mighty working, who worketh in me mightily.


Make you perfect in every good work, to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight thro' Christ Jesus; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.


Having purified your souls by obeying the truth thro' the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart fervently:


If we say we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth.


Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that is a doer of good is of God, but he that is a doer of evil, hath not seen God.


I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: O that thou wert cold or hot!
