Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; the first, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;


And Simon he surnamed Peter: And James the son of Zebedee,


Simon Peter seeing it, fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.


Simon (whom also he named Peter) and Andrew his brother:


I know whom I have chosen, that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me, hath lift up his heel against me.


There were together Simon Peter and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.


Jesus saith to her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.


Now this I say, every one of you saith, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ.


Afterwards he was seen by above five hundred brethren at once,


Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas; or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come,


Have we not power to lead about with us a sister, a wife, as well as the other apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Peter?


Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.


But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be condemned.
