For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.


yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you, will think he doth God service.


But the Jews seeing the multitudes, were filled with zeal, and spake against the things spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.


I indeed thought myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth:


But the high priest arising, and all that were with him, which was the sect of the Saducees,


And the patriachs moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt; but God was with him,


full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity:


Let us walk decently, as in the day; not in banqueting and drunken entertainments, not in uncleannesses and wantonness, not in strife and envy.


Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law,


But to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, shall be indignation and wrath,


Love suffereth long and is kind; love envieth not; love acteth not rashly, is not puffed up:


For ye are still carnal: for while there is among you emulation, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk according to man?


And are ye puffed up? Have ye not rather mourned, that he who hath done this deed, might be taken from among you?


Your glorying is not good: know ye not, that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?


For I fear lest when I come, I should not find you such as I would, and lest I should be found by you such as ye would not: lest there should be contentions, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults, Lest my God should humble me when I come to you again,


But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed ye be not consumed one of another.


uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, contentions,


emulations, wraths, strifes, divisions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I tell you before (as I have also told you in time past) that they who practise such things, shall not inherit the kingdom of God.


Be not desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.


For neither they who are circumcised keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.


Some indeed preach Christ even through envy and strife; but some through good will.


Do nothing through strife or vain-glory, but in lowliness of mind, esteem each the others better than themselves.


Who willeth all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.


He is puffed up, knowing nothing, but being sick of questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, contention, evil speakings,


For we also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, inslaved to various desires and pleasures, living in wickedness and envy, hateful, hating one another:


Of his own will begat he us by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.


For where bitter zeal and strife is, there is unquietness and every evil work.


Brethren, if any one among you err from the truth, and one convert him,
