And they come to Jesus and see the demoniac, sitting and clothed and in his right mind: and they were afraid.


(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man: for many times it had caught him, and he had been kept bound with chains and fetters, and breaking the bands asunder, he had been driven by the spirit into the deserts.)


Then they went out to see what was done, and came to Jesus, and found the man out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid.


But the evil spirit answering said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?


And this was known to all both Jews and Greeks dwelling at Ephesus, and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.


And leaping up, he stood and walked, and went with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.


While they promise them liberty, themselves are the slaves of corruption; for by whom a man is overcome, by him he is also brought into slavery.
