marvelled, and glorified God, who had given such power to men.


Now the apostles and brethren who were in Judea heard, that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.


And being come and having gathered the church together, they related all that God had done with them, and that he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.


And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.


Testifying both to Jews and Greeks repentance towards God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.


And having heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said to him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of believing Jews there are, and they are all zealous for the law.


Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,


God having raised up his Son, hath sent him to you first, to bless you, by turning every one of you from your iniquities.


Him hath God exalted, a Prince and a Saviour with his right-hand, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.


What shall we say then? That the Gentiles who followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith:


And we all with unveiled face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.


For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation not to be repented of, whereas the sorrow of the world worketh death.
