And ye now therefore have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh from you.


Hitherto ye have asked nothing in my name: ask (and ye shall receive) that your joy may be full.


Serving the Lord with all humility, and with tears, and trials which befell me through the ambushes of the Jews:


Therefore watch, remembering that for three years, I ceased not to warn every one, night and day, with tears.


For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift,


For God is my witness, how I long for you all, with the bowels of Jesus Christ.


For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because ye had heard that he was sick.


But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time, in presence, not in heart, laboured with great desire the more abundantly to see your face.


Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.


Do thy diligence to come to me shortly.


And these things write we to you, that your joy may be full.


And he shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall sorrow, or crying, or pain, be any more; because the former things are gone away.


For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them, and will lead them to living fountains of water: and God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.
