Then drew near to him all the publicans and sinners, to hear him.


For if they do these things in the green tree, what shall be done in the dry?


Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith; and that we must through many tribulations enter into the kingdom of God.


thou must be presented before Cesar: and lo God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.


Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, Unless these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.


For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven, against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who detain the truth in unrighteousness.


For when we were yet without strength, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly.


But God recommendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.


Therefore let him that standeth, take heed, lest he fall.


Knowing this, that the law doth not lie against a righteous man; but against the lawless and disobedient, against the ungodly and sinners, the unholy and prophane, against killers of their fathers or their mothers, against murderers,


Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entring into his rest, any of us should altogether come short of it.


Ye have condemned, ye have killed the just: he doth not resist you.


for your adversary the devil, walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour:


But the heavens and the earth that are now, are by his word kept in store reserved unto fire, against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.


To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of them of all their ungodly deeds, which they have impiously committed, and of all the grievous things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
