After these things, someone told Joseph, “Behold, your father is sick.” So he took his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim, with him.


I will give them one heart and one way, so they may fear Me forever; for their good and for their children after them.


Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Never, Master! This must never happen to You!”


For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made that way by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who can accept this, let him accept it.”


The crowd warned them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Master, Ben-David!”


For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away—as many as Adonai our God calls to Himself.”


For the unbelieving husband is made holy through the wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy through her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
