“Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t His mother called Miriam, and His brothers Jacob and Joseph and Simon and Judah?


As Yeshua was passing by from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. He said to him, “Follow Me.” And he got up and followed Him.


As He was passing by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. He said to him, “Follow Me.” And he got up and followed Him.


to Jacob and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee, He gave the name Boanerges, which is Sons of Thunder;


and Judah from Kriot, who also betrayed Him.


Isn’t this the carpenter, the son of Miriam, and the brother of Jacob and Joseph and Judah and Simon? Aren’t His sisters here with us?” And they took offense at Him.


Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John speak and followed Yeshua.

Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in the Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two of the other disciples were together.


When they had entered, they went up to the upper room where they were staying—Peter and John and Jacob and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; Jacob son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judah son of Jacob.


After they finished speaking, Jacob answered, “Brothers, listen to me.


On the next day, Paul went in with us to Jacob; all the elders were present.


Then He appeared to Jacob, then to all the emissaries,


Don’t we have the right to take along a believing wife, as do the other emissaries and the Lord’s brothers and Kefa?
