When Adonai smelled the soothing aroma, Adonai said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground on account of man, even though the inclination of the heart of humankind is evil from youth. Nor will I ever again smite all living creatures, as I have done.


Do not eat any of it raw or boiled with water, but only roasted with fire—its head with its legs and its innards.


Then you are to offer the whole ram up in smoke on the altar. It is a burnt offering to Adonai, a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Adonai.


Moses did so, just as Adonai had commanded him.
