You must tell my father about all my honor in Egypt, and about all that you’ve seen. And you must quickly bring my father down here.”


Yet his bow was always filled, and his arms quick-moving— by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob. From there a Shepherd, the Stone of Israel,


He has stripped me of my honor, and removed the crown from my head.


I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was as my robe and turban.


He satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like an eagle.


He makes my feet like those of deer and makes me stand on my heights.


Many are saying to my soul: “There is no deliverance for him in God.” Selah


but they who wait for Adonai will renew their strength. They will soar up with wings as eagles. They will run, and not grow weary. They will walk, and not be faint.


Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
