Then Zilpah, Leah’s female servant, gave birth to a second son for Jacob.


and the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s female servant, were Gad and Asher. These are Jacob’s sons, who were born to him in Paddan-aram.


Asher’s sons: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and Serah their sister. Beriah’s sons: Heber and Malchiel.


Asher—rich is his food— he will provide delicacies fit for a king.


Her children arise and bless her, her husband also praises her:


Yet my dove, my perfect one is unique. She is her mother’s only one— a virtuous child of the one who bore her. Maidens saw her and called her blessed. Queens and concubines praised her.


For He has looked with care upon the humble state of His maidservant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.
