Abraham drew near and said, “Will you really sweep away the righteous with the wicked?


If you return to Shaddai, you will be restored; if you remove iniquity far from your tent


Turn me away from the deceitful way, and be gracious to me with Your Torah.


They band together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.


“Do not bear false witness against your neighbor.


“Do not to spread a false report. Do not join hands with the wicked by becoming a malicious witness.


showing mercy to a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, yet by no means leaving the guilty unpunished, but bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, to the third and fourth generation.”


Be sure, the evil will not go unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will be delivered.


Acquitting the wicked and condemning the righteous: both are an abomination to Adonai.


One who walks righteously, and speaks uprightly, who refuses unjust gain by extortion, who shakes his hands free of bribes, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from looking on evil.


Oy to those who call evil good and good evil, who present darkness as light and light as darkness, who present bitter as sweet, and sweet as bitter!


“You are not to steal. You are not to lie. You are not to deceive one another.


“You are not to go up and down as a talebearer among your people. You are not to endanger the life of your neighbor. I am Adonai.


Adonai is slow to anger and great in power, but He will by no means acquit the guilty. Adonai’s way is with a whirlwind or with a storm wind, Clouds are the dust of His feet.


Also soldiers asked him, saying, “And what should we do?” He said to them, “Do not take things from anyone by force, do not falsely accuse anyone, and be content with your wages.”


For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. In unrighteousness they suppress the truth,


So lay aside lying and “each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.


“Suppose there is a dispute between people and they approach the court, the judges hear their case, and declare one righteous and the other guilty.


‘Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to strike down an innocent life.’ Then all the people are to say, ‘Amen.’
