and said: “Adonai, God of Israel, there is no God like You, in heaven above or on earth below, keeping covenant and lovingkindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart.


So will God really dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You! How much less this House that I have built!


“Now, Adonai, may the word that You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house be confirmed forever. Do as You have spoken


Now, Adonai Elohim, let Your word to my father David be fulfilled for You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth.


Fulfill Your word to Your servant, which leads to reverence for You.


Remember the word to Your servant, on which You have made me hope.


You uphold me in my integrity and set me before Your face forever.


They saw the God of Israel, and under His feet was something like a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the very heavens.


“The poor and needy ask for water, but there is none, Their tongues are parched with thirst. I, Adonai, will answer them, I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.


I will give you treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, so you may know that I am Adonai, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.


Then I will fulfill the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is today.’” In response I said, “Amen, Adonai.”


Then Eli responded, “Go in shalom, and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you asked of Him.”
