If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.


I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like that of a trumpet,


his feet were like burnished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters.


Then I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud while their enemies watched them.


Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”


I also saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had overcome the beast, his image, and the number of his name were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps from God.


The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters will never be heard in yoʋ again. No craftsman of any trade will ever be found in yoʋ again. The sound of a mill will never be heard in yoʋ again.


When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.


Then I saw the Lamb open one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.”


The first angel sounded his trumpet, and hail and fire, mixed with blood, were hurled down to the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
