We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly increasing and the love that every one of you has for one another is abounding.


That is why I am suffering these things. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.


Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, let us live and do this or that.”


Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.
