and because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade.


So he sent two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, while he himself stayed in Asia for a period of time.


So the whole city was filled with confusion, and they rushed with one accord into the amphitheater, seizing Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians who were Paul's traveling companions.


In all things I have shown you that we must labor in this way and help those who are weak, remembering what the Lord Jesus himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’  ”


We labor, working with our own hands. When we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure;


For you remember, brothers, our labor and hardship. Working night and day so as not to be a burden on any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.


All who are with me greet yoʋ. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
