Then fear came upon all who dwelt around them, and in the entire hill country of Judea all these things were being discussed.


Then all the people were filled with awe and began glorifying God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us,” and, “God has visited his people.”


When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was astonished at the teaching of the Lord.


When he arrived at Ephesus, he left Priscilla and Aquila there, but he himself went into the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews.


However, as he took leave of them, he said, “I must by all means keep the coming feast in Jerusalem, but I will return to you again, God willing.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.


While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul went through the interior regions and came to Ephesus, where he came across some disciples.


Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled from the house naked and wounded.


Many who had become believers came forward, confessing and disclosing their practices,


A sense of awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles.


And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard these things.


No one else dared to join them, but the people held them in high regard.


When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last breath. And great fear came upon all who heard about it.


My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be put to shame in anything, but will speak with complete boldness so that now, as always, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether I live or die.


so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.


Finally, brothers, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it was with you.
