He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.


I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, "Here am I, here am I," to a nation that was not called by[1] my name.


Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, "I am a warrior."


And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.


That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.


And there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself.


And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God.


And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?"
