Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.


When I think of your ways, I turn my feet to your decrees;


Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.


for they are a rebellious house. Therefore, mortal, prepare for yourself an exile's baggage, and go into exile by day in their sight; you shall go like an exile from your place to another place in their sight. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house.


But if this man has a son who sees all the sins that his father has done, considers, and does not do likewise,


But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die.


Again, when the wicked turn away from the wickedness they have committed and do what is lawful and right, they shall save their life.


Yet the house of Israel says, “The way of the Lord is unfair.” O house of Israel, are my ways unfair? Is it not your ways that are unfair?


Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed against me, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why will you die, O house of Israel?


And you, mortal, say to your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not save them when they transgress; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, it shall not make them stumble when they turn from their wickedness; and the righteous shall not be able to live by their righteousness when they sin.


If they were wise, they would understand this; they would discern what the end would be.


He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.
