But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.


I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.


The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.


Vindicate me, Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord and have not faltered.


Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one; clothe yourself with splendour and majesty.


I long to dwell in your tent for ever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.


May his name endure for ever; may it continue as long as the sun. Then all nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.


I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.


I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’


He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshipped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.


He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, “I am the Son of God.” ’


And again, ‘I will put my trust in him.’ And again he says, ‘Here am I, and the children God has given me.’


David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.
