Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul.


Praise the Lord, my soul. Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendour and majesty.


Praise the Lord. I will extol the Lord with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.


I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; before the ‘gods’ I will sing your praise.


I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.


For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.


I will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.


Let them praise your great and awesome name – he is holy.


And they were calling to one another: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.’


God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.’


So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.


And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,


Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.


Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all round, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: ‘ “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,” who was, and is, and is to come.’
