Proverbs 11:3

May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.


Vindicate me, Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord and have not faltered.


The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.


Righteousness guards the person of integrity, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.


A person’s own folly leads to their ruin, yet their heart rages against the Lord.


but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.


The violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right.


The eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.


The one whose way of life is blameless is kept safe, but the one whose ways are perverse will fall into the pit.


Do not be overwicked, and do not be a fool – why die before your time?


But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the Lord will perish.


Among their victims were Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba – the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword.


Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
