In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.


Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.


He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spat on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, ‘Do you see anything?’


Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.


When Gaal saw them, he said to Zebul, ‘Look, people are coming down from the tops of the mountains!’ Zebul replied, ‘You mistake the shadows of the mountains for men.’
