This is an easy thing in the eyes of the Lord; he will also deliver Moab into your hands.


The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, ‘Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?’ ‘You will see it with your own eyes,’ answered Elisha, ‘but you will not eat any of it!’


‘I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.


‘Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.


‘I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?


This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘It may seem marvellous to the remnant of this people at that time, but will it seem marvellous to me?’ declares the Lord Almighty.


Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’


The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, ‘Who then can be saved?’


For no word from God will ever fail.’


Jesus replied, ‘What is impossible with man is possible with God.’


who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.


Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.


Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
