2 You are to lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash the blood against the sides of the altar.

‘Bring the bull to the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.


Slaughter it in the Lord’s presence at the entrance to the tent of meeting.


‘Take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.


Slaughter it and take the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar.


‘Take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.


We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.


You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.


any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside it


instead of bringing it to the entrance to the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to the Lord in front of the tabernacle of the Lord – that person shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; they have shed blood and must be cut off from their people.


From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the Lord: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them,

‘But you must not redeem the firstborn of an ox, a sheep or a goat; they are holy. Splash their blood against the altar and burn their fat as a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.


You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.


When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.’


God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
