The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast.


Isaac then made a feast for them, and they ate and drank.


He offered a sacrifice there in the hill country and invited his relatives to a meal. After they had eaten, they spent the night there.


The man did as Joseph told him and took the men to Joseph’s house.


So they went up to Joseph’s steward and spoke to him at the entrance to the house.


Now Joseph gave these instructions to the steward of his house: ‘Fill the men’s sacks with as much food as they can carry, and put each man’s silver in the mouth of his sack.


They had not gone far from the city when Joseph said to his steward, ‘Go after those men at once, and when you catch up with them, say to them, “Why have you repaid good with evil?


She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table.


Why should I take my bread and water, and the meat I have slaughtered for my shearers, and give it to men coming from who knows where?’
